Vinification notes

The grapes were vinified as a single varietal. The must obtained through gentle pressing underwent cold static settling to encourage natural clarification. Fermentation took place over 12 days at a controlled temperature of 18°C, using selected varietal yeasts to enhance the grape variety’s aromatic profile. After aging for six months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes gentle filtration before bottling to preserve its structure and persistence on the palate.

Facts about the name

It was created as a free reinterpretation of Vulcnum, a learned term rooted in Latin. This name is deeply linked to the volcanic earth of the hills. The volcano is not only a geological feature, but also a symbol of enduring strength and vitality. The name combines a reference to the volcano in "Vulc" with "Num," evoking the Latin numen: in Roman culture, a manifestation of divine power and wisdom.
